Alpharetta's relay teams ran some impressive times over the weekend
Congratulations to Ava Kitchings from Greater Atlanta and Ervin Pearson from Buford for being voted as the performers of the week last week. Kitchings had a long jump of 19-11.75 to win the Gwinnett County Championships while Pearson ran a 46.73 to win the 400 at the Gwinnett Meet. The Gwinnett voters were out in full force for their athletes last week it seems.
Vote below now for the Georgia Track & Field boys and girls performers of the week for this week. This includes athletes from the last two weeks of competition since most, but not all, schools were on spring break last week. It was a unique mix this week with relays being the events that added the most to the top ten lists.
The girls vote this week is between Maddison Brister, Morgan Grace Sheffield, Jaden Billings, Madison Townsend, and Westlake's 4x100/4x200 relay teams.
The boys vote this week is between Jadon Thomason, Tommy Latham, Malachi Yehudah, Marist's 4x1600m relay, and Alpharetta's 4x200/4x400m relay teams.
Note - athletes will not be nominated in consecutive weeks, but can be nominated more than once in the season. Polls Close at Midnight on Friday
