XC 2013: Roy Griak Coverage Central: Ali, Colter win big in MN!

Milesplit and Flotrack have partnered to broadcast the 28th Roy Griak Invitational, hosted by the University of Minnesota. The Roy Griak Invitational is one of the most competitive early season cross country competitions nationwide. The meet will be live streamed via eight cameras on Flotrack.org for all Flotrack Pro subscribers.

    • Gold Boys Race
      • ​Obsa Ali (Richfield MN) dominated the boys race, winning with a new meet record of 15:30.8.  Olin Hacker (Madison West WI) was a surprise 2nd in 15:33.4 with Addison Dehaven (Brookings SD) 3rd in 15:33.8.  The Wayzata (MN) boys defended their home turf with a winning 116 points over Edina, 159 points and Bismarck (ND), with 231 points.  
    • Gold Girls Race
      • Jordyn Colter (Cherry Creek CO) rolled to the win with a time of 17:47.2.  Anna French (Wayzata MN) was 2nd in 17:59.9 with McKenzie Yanek (Pleasant Valley) 3rd in 18:02.  Megan Reilly (Warwick Valley NY) was 4th in 18:11.1.  Wayzata (MN) defended their home turf with a winning team score of 58 points to crush everybody!  Cherry Creek (CO) was 2nd with 162 points and Naperville North (IL) was 3rd with 183 points.
