In Minnesota, we know that our athletes will often race in less than perfect conditions - from snow in April to 90 degree heat in May. The MSHSL Section 7AA Finals in Zimmerman on Saturday, May 31st provided for a different kind of experience! The meet was scheduled to begin with field events at 11:00 am and running events, beginning with the 4x800 Meter Relay, at 12:00 noon. After several delays due to lightening, the 4x800 relay actually started around 4:00. The above picture of the final leg of the boys 4x400 meter relay was taken at 8:44 pm - the relay was originally scheduled to start at 4:30 pm!
