As we close out the first official week of cross country practice, and review the preseason coach's polls, we thought it was a great time to hear from all of you! Who is your preseason favorite to take the title in the fall?
The difference maker for the girl's season this year will be the change to a 5k course. However, the top runners have experience at the distance - the coach's preseason poll puts Megan Hasz (Alexandria Jefferson) and twin sister, Bethany Hasz (Alexandria Jefferson) at #1 and #2 in the poll. Emma Benner (Forest Lake) had a strong summer season, boasting a #9 finish at the USATF National JO Outdoor Championships and a #1 finish at the USATF National JO XC Championships.
