NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP EVENT RESULTS
BEREA, Ohio--The Augsburg College women's 4x100 relay team finished fourth in their heat with a time of 48.09 seconds Thursday afternoon at The George Finnie Stadium on the campus of Baldwin-Wallace College. The relay team failed to qualify for the eight team final which will be held Saturday afternoon at 1:00pm.
The relay teams participation at the NCAA Championships capped a tremendous season for team members
Whitney Holman (SR, New Hope, Minn./Robbinsdale Armstrong HS),
Ashley Carney (FY, Lakeville, Minn./Lakeville South HS),
Katie Vrieze (JR, Richfield, Minn.) and
Shanek Telphia (FY, Chicago, Ill./Gage Park HS). The foursome broke the school record in the 4x100 meter relay four seperate times this season, and represent the first 4x100 team in school history to qualify for the Women's Outdoor NCAA Championships.
