MINNEAPOLIS -- Newcomer Anika Clark (FY, Lakeville, Minn./Lakeville North) led the Auggies with a ninth-place individual finish (21:44) in their season debut meet, a triangular with Bethel University and the University of Wisconsin-Superior. Augsburg finished third in the meet with 65 team points, while Bethel claimed top honors with 15 points, and UW-Superior finished second with 58 points.

Kacie Bahr (JR, Brainerd, Minn.) finished the 5,000 meter course at Riverside park in 14th place with a time of 22:04. Bahr's time is just over one minute faster than the time she recorded at the same event last season.

Haley Diem (SO, Stillwater, Minn.) finished in 18th place with a time of 22:23 to round out the top three finishers for the Auggies.

Augsburg returns to action Saturday September 11 at the St. Catherine University Mini-Meet in St. Paul.
