MEET RESULTS
EAU CLAIRE, Wis.-- The Augsburg College men's cross country team recorded a 10th place finish at the Blugold Open, hosted by Wisconsin-Eau Clarie Friday afternoon. A total of 16 teams participated in the event, including five other Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference schools.
Augsburg was led by
Matt Schafer (SO, New Brighton, Minn./Irondale HS) who finished in 39th place with a time of 26:42.
Geoffrey Gillmor (JR, Minneapolis, Minn./South HS)
Micheale Tesema (FY, Burnsville, Minn.) and
Daniel Gerber (JR, Plymouth, Minn./Wayzata HS) each finished under the 28 minute mark and finished in 64th, 67th, and 71st places respectively.
The Auggies next competition will be Saturday Oct. 9th at the Wartburg College Dan Hutson Pre-National Invitational in Waverly, Iowa.
