WAVERLY, Iowa--The Augsburg College women's cross country team participated in the Dan Hutson Pre-National Invitational hosted by Wartburg Saturday morning, finishing in 20th place in the team competition. A total of 23 teams participated in the event.

Augsburg was led by Anika Clark (FY, Lakeville, Minn./Lakeville North) who recorded a time of 25:47 and finished in 95th place. Jennifer Pulscher (JR, Colorado Springs, Colo./Liberty HS) finished with a time of 27:20, while  Shayla Fulford (FY, Perham, Minn.) recorded a time of 27:31.

Augsburg runners Haley Diem (SO, Stillwater, Minn.) and Kacie Bahr (JR, Brainerd, Minn.) also recorded solid finishes, completing the race with times of 27:35 and 27:37.

Augsburg returns to action Saturday Oct. 16 at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Jim Drews Invitational. The meet will mark the Auggies last tune up before the MIAC Championships Oct. 30 in Saint Paul.
