MEET RESULTS
LaCrosse, Wis.-- The Augsburg College men's cross country team competed at the Jim Drews Invitational hosted by the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse on Saturday morning. The Auggies recorded a 21st place team finish in the 8k event, which featured 28 full teams competing.
Augsburg was led by
Matt Schafer (SO, New Brighton, Minn./Irondale HS) who finished 84th with a season-best time of 26:26. Teammate
Micheale Tesema (FY, Burnsville, Minn.) finished 129th with a time of 26:46.
Augsburg returns to action Saturday, Oct. 30 at the MIAC Championships in St. Paul. The Auggies finished in fourth-place as a team last season.
