RESULTS

EAU CLAIRE, Minn.--Haley Diem (JR, Stillwater, Minn.) recorded a career best time to lead the Augsburg College women's cross country team to a 14th place team finish at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Blugold Invitational Friday afternoon. A total of 19 teams competed in the team competition at the Whitetail Golf Course 6,000 meter race site.

Diem, who finished the race with a time of 24:35 and recorded a 69th place finish, showed an improvement of almost two minutes in the same race last season. 

Kacie Bahr (SR, Brainerd, Minn.) who finished just behind Diem in 76th place, completed the race with a time of 24:40. The result marks the first time Bahr has finished under the 25:00 mark during her career at Augsburg.

Hannah Ehling (FY, Montevideo, Minn.) and Anika Clark (SO, Lakeville, Minn./Lakeville North HS) finished third and fourth for Augsburg, recording times of 25:07 and 25:45 respectivley. The result marks a career best for Ehling.

Rounding out the top five for Augsburg was Jennifer Pulscher (SR, Colorado Springs, Colo./Liberty HS) who recorded a season best time of 26:42. 

Shayla Fulford (SO, Perham, Minn.) and Emily Knudson (FY, Lake Elmo, Minn./Stillwater HS) also competed for Augsburg and finished the race with times of 27:04 and 29:06 respectively. Both times marked season best performances for Fulford and Knudson.

The Auggies return to action next Saturday (10/8) when they travel to Kenosha, Wis. to participate in the Lucian Rosa Invitational at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside.
