Ada-Borup’s Blasey lands another title at state meet
Ada-Borup's Brian Blasey put his name in the state record books for the second straight year Friday at the Minnesota State High School League championship track meet at Hamline University's Klas Field in St. Paul.
Blasey became the Minnesota Class 1A state champion in the shot put with a throw of 53 feet, 11 and a half inches. He was the champion in the discus throw in last year's meet, and he will defend his title Saturday.
