ST. PAUL — In his formative track and field days at Duluth Marshall, Eric Miklausich practiced jumping in the school hallways since there’s no outdoor pit.

He does just fine outside as well.

Miklausich won the Minnesota Class A boys triple jump title Friday, soaring a personal-best 44 feet, 10¼ inches, to claim the championship by more than a foot at Hamline University.
