Grace Loeslie, Anastasia Korzenowski and Emily Castanias finished 4-5-6 to lead the Chanhassen girls cross country team to a runner-up finish at the St. Olaf College High School Showcase in Northfield Friday.

The Storm, which won the opening invite in St. Paul seven days earlier, was well ahead of defending Missota Conference and Section 2AA champion Shakopee, outscoring them by 110 points. East Ridge won the meet with 71 points followed by Chanhassen with 86.

Much like the first race at St. Catherine's University, the Storm trio ran upfront in a lead pack well behind champion Maria Hauger of Shakopee, who crossed the finish line in a time of 14:02.8.
