To say the least, NXN did not go as planned. The race went out hard, as usual, and in this respect I wasn't surprised at all.  I planned on pushing the first 400-800 to get good position.  I think I regret it.

Hello everyone! My name is Jenna Truedson.  As a freshman I run cross country at Bemidji High School.

Hey everyone, I’m Brandon and I’m a senior at The Blake School. This has been a fun Championship season for us as a team, although both our teams just missed the podium at State with fourth place finishes (our team goal was to win State).  Both teams should return to State next year, along with my teammate Clare Flanagan who will be defending her individual title.  

Hello everyone! Our names are Erica and Amber Seidenkranz.  We run cross country at Monticello High School.  Erica is a Senior and Amber is a sophomore.

Hey everyone, I'm Josh Thorson, a senior at Wayzata High School.  Wayzata is one of the bigger schools in Minnesota with around 3400 students and our cross country team has around 150 high school boys.  We've qualified for NXN for four years (2007-2010) so this is the first year since they started having regional qualifying meets that we haven't made it.

Minnesota had a very good showing at the Heartland Regional race for Nike Cross Nationals. You can follow several athletes as they prepare for their race, and take part in the experience that is Nike Cross Nationals.
