First of all, how did you first start running?

I started running track when I was nine for Pearl Park in Minneapolis. I became almost addicted because that was my first year and I made it to the Hershey's national meet.

What are all your personal records, including cross country?

My personal bests:

o 200- 24.23s

o 400- 53.96s

o 800- 2:18

Do you do, or have you done, any sports other than track?

I play two other sports which are tennis and basketball. I am a captain of both teams as well as track.

What is your favorite or most memorable race you have ever run?

My most memorable race would have to be at nationals last year in Clovis because i was so nervous because I knew many of the girls I would be running against were in college. That was the race I also broke the state record for the 400m and ran my PR.

Obviously running at Nationals last year was a thrill, but other than that, what was the most memorable part of that experience?

The most memorable part of nationals other than competing was going to see the Hollywood walk of fame stars and going to in and out burger for the first time.

You don't run the 800 often, but have done very well when you do. Do you enjoy running it, or is it an event you more or less run out of necessity because your coaches want you to?

The first couple times I ran the 800m I dreaded, but now I don't mind and it helps with my other races and I don't have to run it many times.

Who are some of your favorite athletes to compete against (other than your own teammates)?

Some of my favorite people to run against were Jadeh Cadwell and Maddie Gourley because I knew when I raced them it was going to be a good race and I'd really have to push myself.  I'll have to find some new favorite since they both graduate last year.

What are your main goals for this upcoming season?

My main goals for this upcoming season is to stay healthy, make it to state and hopeful get a three peat, and also run faster times than last and hopefully get a couple records on the way.

Do you have any college plans?

I have committed to the University of Kansas and will be going into sports medicine. I will also be on the track team there.

Jedah Caldwell also went to the Kansas. Did she play any role at all in convincing you to attend?

Jedah Caldwell did have a slight impact on me attending Kansas.

Do you have any rituals or superstitions either on or off the track?

I always listen to music before or during my warm up. I tend to eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches before my warm ups.

Who are your go-to artists to listen to in your warm-up?

I listen to a lot of different artist but I tend to listen to the Migos, Drake, and Lil Bibby

When not running miles or turning left, what might we find you doing?

If not running in circles you sometimes can find me jumping usually high jump but I was thinking of trying long jump this year. When I have free time I like to customize my clothes, play with my little sisters, or watch tv.

Have you ever done the long jump in competition before?

I've done long jump in competition but I have not done it since I've been in high school.

Tell me one bizarre fact about yourself.

In my gym bag, I keep at least one thing from each sport I play.
