Sartell-Saint Stephen
Sartell returns three of their scoring seven runners that helped the team finish sixth at last year's State Meet. Sartell is led by Alex Nemeth, the 29th-place finisher last year), and his brother Zach, who saw huge improvements during the track season to run 9:53 in the 3200m. Nick Buiceag-Arama and Zach Harren also return with state meet experience under their belts. But after graduating most of the core who had led led the team since their freshman years, the key for Sartell will be the continued development of their top JV runners. They all took a big step in the track season, as all seven of their top returners ran 10:33 or better in the 3200m, and six of them ran better than 4:50 in the 1600m. As long as this development continues, Sartell will almost certainly make it back into the top ten at State.
