Ava Hill, Mesabi East, Sr.
The winner of the last three 800m track titles (2:12.11 PR), Ava Hill has also claimed the last two section 7A and Iron Range Conference XC titles in her first two years of running cross country. After finishing 8th at the XC State meet in 2017 she moved up to a 4th place last year with the second best time of her career (18:24.4). The only Class A runners to better Hill in head-to-head races in 2018 were the Pings, Wolfgram and Geist. Her PR of 18:11.48 was set at NXR in 2017 when she finished 32nd and ranks 7th among returners in Class A.
