SAINT MICHAEL-ALBERTVILLE (3)
Saint Michael-Albertville are the defending champions after winning over Wayzata at last year's state meet. They only graduated one senior from last year's team but she was a huge asset to their score, coming in 21st last year. Based off of personal bests, they look to be about 50 points behind Wayzata but both teams have an impressive 1-5 spread of just over 50 seconds. Unlike Wayzata, STMA doesn't have as strong of a sixth and seventh runner to fill in if someone is having an off day. Their sixth and seventh runners are a little over a minute behind their top five and they might need them to step up to grab some vital team points.
