RECAP: East Grand Forks went 1-2-3 led by junior Tyson Mahar in 16:06. Senior Cole Nowacki was just two seconds back followed by sophomore Jonathan Krueger who also went under 17 minutes on the day. EGF won at spots 1-3 and 5 to earn the win over second place Roseau who was led by fifth place finisher, junior David Nelson.

GIRLS IND CHAMP: Lydia Floden, EGF, 19:56.5 | TEAM CHAMP: EGF

RECAP: East Grand Forks took a comfortable win by placing all five scores inside the top nine with a 21:48 average. EGF freshman Lydia Floden won in 19:56, nearly a minute ahead of second place Warroad junior, Eliana Bleess.

RECAP: Annandale claimed a close victory over second place Big Lake and Litchfield who was third. Big Lake freshman Kade Layton earned the win over second place Litchfield senior Ben Ammermann. Annandale managed to get four runners in the top nine while no other team could sneak in more than a pair and that proved the difference in their narrow win.

RECAP: Annandale earned the team win with all five scorers in the top nine led by freshman Keily Wheeler who took the individual victory. Second place Big Lake was lead by second place individual junior Josephine Lentz

RECAP: Medford took home a close victory over Maple River in the team scoring while New Richland-H-E-G junior Daniel Nydegger pulled away from second place Maple River freshman Cole Stenzel for the individual win.

GIRLS INV CHAMP: Rory Bickler, Austin Pacelli, 20:42 | GIRLS TEAM CHAMP: Austin Pacelli

RECAP: Austin Pacelli placed their top five in the top eight individuals to cruise to the team win led by senior Rory Bickler's individual win, almost two minutes ahead of second place teammate, seventh grader Lexi Lewis.

BOYS IND CHAMP: Luke O'Hare, Lewiston-Altura, 17:24.2 | TEAM CHAMP: Lake City

RECAP: Lake City posted a solid win over second place Lewiston-Altura in the team standings. L-A junior Luke O'Hare took the team win but Lake City ran all five scorers in the top nine overall. After taking the lead in the top two spots L-A could not hang with Lake City in the third through fifth spots in a 1:05 split that averaged 18:28 on the day.

RECAP: Lake City ran strong to take the girls win by a comfortable margin over second place Rochester Homeschool. Lake City Freshman Jacey Majerus led four teammates inside the top nine with her individual victory.

BOYS IND CHAMP: Zach Matzner, Marshall, 17:00.2 | BOYS TEAM CHAMP: Redwood Valley

RECAP: Redwood Valley took the team title by placing five in the top 22 just ahead of runner up Pipestone who has five in the top 28. Marshall senior Zach Matzner won the individual title in 17:00.2 three seconds in front of Springfield senior Mitchell Buerkle. Redwood Valley was led by third place finisher Jayson Peyerl

GIRLS IND CHAMP: Morgan Gehl, Murray County Central-Fulda, 18:44.4 | GIRLS TEAM CHAMP: Marshall

RECAP: Marshall took home the win with a 20:58 average over a 90 second split, placing all five scorers inside the top 12. Murray County Central junior and coaches no.2 ranked Morgan Gehl dipped well under 19 minutes in her victory, the fastest result for her this season. Coaches ranked no. 6, Canby-Minneota sophomore Grace Drietz was second in 19:21.7. Marshall was led by third place finisher Bellamy Sukalski.

BOYS IND CHAMP: Magnus Herschbach, Henry Sibley, 17:09.3 | BOYS TEAM CHAMP:  Henry Sibley

RECAP: Led by Sibley sophomore Magnus Herschbach, Sibley tucked three inside the top ten and that proved to be the difference in their win over second place Hastings. Hastings had five in first over a tight 27 second split but single digit sticks and an 18:18 average made the difference for Sibley. Saint Thomas Academy sophomore Padon Kinzley was second ahead of Sibley senior Bennett Challifour in third.

GIRLS IND CHAMP: Makayla FischerMahtomedi, 20:57 | GIRLS TEAM CHAMP: Mahtomedi

RECAP: Mahtomedi took home a close win over Henry Sibley in the team competition led by sophomore Makayla Fischer's victory of nearly a minute over second place Sibley senior Amanda Tuvey. Mahtomedi took small point victories at spots 1, 2, 4 and 5 to post a six point edge.

RECAP: Northwest Homeschool pulled off an impressive victory over class A ranked Heritage Christian with head to head wins at all five scoring spots and 17:54 average. Northwest sophomore Luke Swanson took home the individual race in 16:50.5 over Heritage Christian senior Travis Miller

GIRLS IND CHAMP: Madeline Kelly, Providence Academy, 19:42.4 | TEAM CHAMP: Providence Academy
RECAP: Providence Academy, led by senior Maddie Kelly taking home in the individual victory, posted a close team win over coaches ranked no. 7 Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted. Kelly won her head to head race with state ranked HL-W-W senior Gracie Mallak who was eight seconds back in second place. Providence won head to head in the first, fourth and fifth spots with a 21:33 average.

BOYS IND CHAMP: Mitch Johnstone, Mankato Loyola/Cleveland, 16:22 | BOYS TEAM CHAMP: Mankato Loyola/Cleveland
RECAP: Mankato Loyola/Cleveland got a win from its top runner, senior and coaches ranked no. 9 Mitch Johnstone and placed two more inside the top eight to earn the team victory. Loyola posted a 17:41 team average despite a 2:42 split. Holy Family Catholic was second with a 1:21 split and 18:08 average despite not having a runner in the top 10 overall. Belle Plaine senior and new addition to the coaches ranks Drew Hastings was second overall on the day.

GIRLS IND CHAMP: Laura Sunnarborg, Mound-Westonka, 19:44.5 | GIRLS TEAM CHAMP: Belle Plaine
RECAP: No. 7 coaches ranked Belle Plaine pulled away from second place competitor Lester Prairie with stronger fourth and fifth runners to take the team title. Mound-Westonka freshman Laura Sunnarborg took home the individual win with a 19:44.5, 11 seconds in front of second place Belle Plaine senior McKenna Herrmann who came into the day ranked 11 in the coaches poll.
