Fan votes selected the Edina girls team victory at the Applejack Invitational last Friday as the week four performance of the week. Just 18 votes separated the Hornets win from runner-up Lakeville North seventh grader Claire Vukovics 18:39 second place finish in the same race.
Edina won with a 19:21 average over a 51 second split led by freshman Lauren Cossacks third place finish in 18:55. Senior Morgan Richter was right behind in fourth place with sophomores Macy Iver (6th) and Maggie Wagner (9th) also in the top ten.
