Lauren Peterson ran a 4:51.78 PR that day while Lauren Ping ran a 4:50.64, also a PR. Petersons and Pings times at Hamline were the two best of the spring 2019 track and field season in Minnesota. They also ranked 41st and 53rd nationally.
Peterson now runs at Furman University where she is a freshman while Ping now competes at Desert Vista High School in Phoenix, Arizona. She had previously competed for Cotter High School in Winona, Minnesota.
