Sarah Klecker former Hopkins standout and a member of the talented Klecker family recently used her capstone project for her masters degree at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign to create a line of athletic apparel for Paralympians.
For her capstone project, Klecker created Velox, a collection of Paralympic uniforms, weatherproof training apparel, and push gloves designed for elite women wheelchair-racing athletes. For the project, she collaborated with some of the world's best Paralympian athletes at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She looked to them for input and as models to improve the athletic apparel for their sport.
