MEET RESULTS

LA CROSSE, Wis. -- Augsburg College's Rick Wolke (SO, Belle Plaine, Minn.) recorded a season-best time and improved his NCAA outdoor national championships provisional qualifying time in the 400-meter dash at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Last Chance Qualifier on Thursday afternoon. No team results were recorded at the event.

Wolke's time of 48.07 seconds is the third-fastest recorded time in the MIAC and is the 13th-fastest time recorded among NCAA Division III participants this season, according to the national outdoor performance lists on the Raceberry Jam website. Wolke also owns a provisional qualifying effort with the 17th-fastest time recorded among Division III sprinters in the 200-meter dash during the outdoor portion of the season.

Wolke and fellow Auggies Brent Haglund (SR, Fridley, Minn) and Shane Pantila (JR, St. Michael, Minn./St. Michael-Albertville HS), who also have provisional qualifying efforts, will find out on Sunday to see if they earned berths into the NCAA Division III Outdoor National Championships, set for May 27-29 at Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, Ohio. Haglund currently has the 31st-fastest time nationally in the 10,000-meter run (31:09.98), while Pantila has the 28th-best effort in the triple jump (14.24 meters/46-feet-8.75).
