MEET RESULTS
ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Augsburg College hurdlers
Caroline Senungi (JR, Shoreview, Minn./Mounds View HS) and
Amy Jo Opsal (SO, Mankato, Minn. St. Clair HS) each recorded second-place finishes to lead the Auggie women's track and field team at the Hamline University Twilight Meet on Wednesday evening. No team results were recorded.
Competing in the 100-meter hurdles, Senugi finished with a time of 16.31 seconds, while Opsal competed in the 400-meter hurdles and posted a time of 1:13:27, which marked her fastest time of the outdoor season.
In the field events, pole vaulter
Brittany Tuberg (FY, Apple Valley, Minn.) recorded an eighth-place finish while equaling an outdoor-best height of 3.30 meters (10-feet-10).
Maya Keith (FY, Brooklyn Park, Minn./Park Center HS) also matched an outdoor season-best in the discus with a mark of 29.49 meters (96-feet-9) to finish in 11th place.
Augsburg returns to action this weekend at the Drake Relays in Des Moines, Iowa.
