Boys
At the Minnetonka MS Coed Meet, Cameron Grossinger crossed the finish line in third place, setting new personal bests in both the 800m and 1600m. From Minnetonka West, this 6th grader clocked 2:30.42 in the half-mile, later to return a 5:20.00 in the mile. Grossinger is ranked #1 in the 1600m and #2 in the 800m in his class for Minnesota.
Minnetonka East's rising high jumper, Lucas Nelson, finished 5th at the Minnetonka MS Coed Meet. Nelson cleared a lifetime best of 4-8 and improved to the #1-ranked 6th-grade high jumper in his class by 2 inches.
Girls
On the runway, Harper Rademacher of Saint Cloud Christian School is your newest state leader in the long jump. At the B Lohrman Invite, the 6th grader leaped a personal best of 13-2.5, outjumping her classmates by almost 3 feet.
Later on at the B Lohrman Invite, Jasmine Perez claimed the girls' 100m title with a personal record. The 7th grader from Rocori High School ran 12.20 to lead her class in the 100m dash.
