TEAM RESULTS
WEST SALEM, Wis. -- The Augsburg College women's cross country team recorded an 18th-place finish at the Tori Neubauer Invitational hosted by the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse at Maple Grove Golf Course Saturday morning. A total of 25 teams competed at the event, which included 387 runners.
Hannah Ehling (FY, Montevideo, Minn.) recorded a season best time of 25:02 to finish in 93rd place in the 6,000-meter event. The race marks the first time that Ehling has been the first Augsburg runner across the finish line this season.
Haley Diem (JR, Stillwater, Minn.) finished just behind Ehling, in 95th place, as she recorded a time of 25:04.
Kacie Bahr (SR, Brainerd, Minn.) recorded a time of 25:22, while teammate
Anika Clark (SO, Lakeville, Minn./Lakeville North HS) finished with a time of 26:03.
Jennifer Pulscher (SR, Colorado Springs, Colo./Liberty HS) rounded out the Augsburg top five, as she recorded a season-best time of 26:31.
Shayla Fulford (SO, Perham, Minn.) and
Carissa Miller (JR, Woodbury, Minn.) recorded times of 27:03 and 28:32, while
Emily Knudson (FY, Lake Elmo, Minn./Stillwater HS) and
Adrienne Young (JR, Minneapolis/St. Anthony Village HS) recorded times of 29:20 and 31:44, respectively.
The Auggies will be off from competition next weekend, as the team will now prepare for the upcoming Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championships on Saturday, Oct. 29 at the Como Park Golf Course in St. Paul, Minn.The race is scheduled to start at 2 p.m.
