Woodbury junior Abiola Abodunde led the way for the Royals at the Section 4AA Championships held last week at Stillwater High School qualifying for state in three events – the triple jump, the 400-meter relay and 1600-meter relay. For Royals fans, it was a great day at the track. The Minnesota State High School League Track and Field State Tournament will be hosted at Klas Field on the Hamline University campus on June 10-11, 2011. On June 10th we will begin with the Class AA 3200 race, followed by preliminary heats in several events. Field events will also begin at 9am. The Class A athletes will take the field at 3pm closing with the finals in the 3200 meter run at 4:50 pm (girls) and 5:05 pm (boys). Below is a quick preview into each event by class.
