What schools did you consider for your post-high school plans?

Minnesota, Wisconsin and obviously Boulder

What ultimately led you to commit to University of Colorado-Boulder?

For one the campus was awesome and had incredible places to train, and I knew it was a coaching staff I could trust.

Has the coach at UC-Boulder given you any indications of what event or events you might be specializing in as a collegiate athlete?

Not specifically but they have a history of producing the nations best steeple chasers which I would not be opposed to trying.

Have you identified a major or area of study?

Not 100% certain but possibly biology or chemical engineering

What is your favorite HS memory as it relates to cross country and track?

It's a tie between making state my first time my freshman year with my brother, and making state this pat year with the team for the first time in 11 years for Hopkins

What goals do you have for your remaining high school track season?

I do Nordic ski a little in the winter more as cross training but a big goal of mine is to qualify for the Adidas dream mile in june, and pick up my first individual state championship.

What are your goals for your collegiate career?

My first goal is to make a competitive varsity team at boulder and just let things go from there trusting in the coaching staff.

What advice would you pass on to an athlete trying to make their college decision?

Visit the school with an idea of what you want. For instance I wanted to join a team with a motivated group of individuals who looked beyond the 2 hours of practice everyday. I wanted a team who believed training was a 24 hour job including getting rest and taking care of yourself. Boulder was this team.
