During the most recent track season he set new PRs of 4:22.16/9:27.38 in the 1600 and 3200 en route to a ninth place state finish at the longer distance. Last fall he continued his steady rise toward upper tier XC performances. Following 71st and 44th place results the previous two seasons, in 2018 he posted a 15:53.3 PR at the State Meet where he finished 13th. He also impressed with an eighth place finish in the open race at NXR.
