Jacey Majerus heads into her freshman year as one of the top ninth graders in Class A. She already has three State Meet performances, two in XC and one at 3200m, under her belt. Last fall she moved up from 31st to 12th at the XC State Meet and set a promising 18:52.30 PR at the Hiawatha Valley League Championships, finishing second to Natasha Sortland. During her most recent track campaign she posted 5:29.2/11:23.04 PRs at 1600/3200m and wrapped up the year with a ninth place finish at State, giving her more high-level experience against the state's best. Majerus should be a name to watch this year and in the years ahead in class A.
