Fans had their say and the performance of the week poll chose Wayzata freshman Abbey Nechanicky as the top performer over the last week. Currently the top runner for the MNXCCA no 4. Trojans, Nechanicky topped a stacked field including four runners currently ranked or receiving votes in the coaches poll.
Her time of 18:52.3 was the best of the day across all 7 girls races and also second fastest in the state last week despite the deep mud and water that covered most of the course. She also moved to the top of the coaches class AA poll individually to cap a great week.
