Section Champions 2016 in Cross Country as a Team, Section Champions 2017 in track and field, State Qualifier in 2016, 2018, and 2019 for cross country, and All-State my senior year.

Did you encounter any struggles or adversity along the way that you had to overcome?

My sophomore year had my appendix removed and a fractured hip at the same time, which was a challenge to come back from for the Track season, but just believe in yourself, you can do it!

Aside from the competition, what was the best thing about being apart of Bemidji High Schools program?

The lumberjack culture is something else, we collectively as a school push the family aspect. We aren't just teammates or classmates, we're family. If one person is struggling, we need to help them out and that is what makes our school/program the great program we are today!

Are there any coaches or teammates that you've worked with over the past four years that you'd like to thank?

I want to Thank Coach Aylesworth for helping me get to where I am today!

What are your plans and goals for the future? Do you intend on continuing with the sport in college or in another capacity?

Attending the University of North Dakota to run Cross Country and Track, while studying nursing. Planning on getting a masters degree in nurse anesthesia

What advice would you give to a younger athlete who's hoping to have a successful and enjoyable high school career?

I would just say to make sure you give your full effort! Do the little things right! BELIEVE!
