McArthur to Represent Minnesota at Adidas Indoor Nationals

Make sure not to miss the boy's mile at Adidas Indoor Nationals and not to miss Elliott McArthur represent our state.

The field will feature Mounds View's (MN) Elliott McArthur, who opened up his indoor season at The VA Showcase to a personal best time of 4:15.34, which ranks him US No. 4 in this event.

That marked a three-second improvement from his personal best effort of 4:18, which he achieved in a time trial over the summer. Officially, though, it's a significant improvement from his 4:38.01, which he ran outdoors in June.

His 1,600m split was 4:13.92. Based on the MileSplit database, this is the fastest indoor 1,600m by a Minnesota high school boy all-time.
