Nyalaam Jok is the top-ranked returner in the state for the girl's high jump, and the third-ranked returning long jumper. While she didn't compete in the 2019 MSHSL State Track and Field Championships she was the 2018 State high jump champion and the runner-up in the long jump. She is committed to compete in track and field at the University of Minnesota.
