Elliott McArthur was the only Minnesotan competing at adidas Indoor Nationals and he did not disappoint. McArthur ran the boy's championship mile and placed fourth overall with a new personal best time of 4:11.88.

His 4:11.88 puts him as the fifth-best high school miler in the country this indoor season, only behind the three finishers above him at adidas Indoor Nationals, and Hobbs Kesslers record-breaking performance. See the top times of the season here: RANKINGS
This is part of McArthurs amazing progression this indoor season where he also posted times of 4:13.92 (1600m) and 4:14.34 (mile).
According to the Mounds View Boys Track & Field Instagram story, he also broke the school record for the mile. The fastest mile time for Mounds View was Austin Streits 4:19.56 and their fastest 1600m time was also by Streit 4:13.25.
