Minnesota Outdoor Breakthrough Performances: Week of May 11

Several Minnesota high school track and field athletes posted personal bests at meets during the week of May 11.

Beckett Homstad (Hermantown) won the 110m hurdles in 14.59 at the LSC C Team Championships on May 14, improving from his previous best of 17.65. The mark ranks #9 in Minnesota and sets a school record for Hermantown High School. Homstad also set a personal best in the 300m hurdles, running 44.42 to improve from 44.80.

Eliza Hoeben (Lakeville South) ran 15.39 in the 100m hurdles at the Class AAA State True Team meet on May 15, placing 6th of 36 competitors. The time improves on her previous best of 16.52 from April 2026 and ranks #29 in the state.
