Four time MN Gatorade Girls Cross Country Runner of the Year, Maria Hauger, Shakopee, MN verbally committed to the University of Virginia (U.Va) for cross country/track and field. This 4 time MN state CC champion and three time track champion recently placed third nationally in the Footlocker CC Championship. “I like the future of distance running at U.Va with the large, talented freshman class that Coach Morgan is bringing in. Academically and athletically, I will be challenged, and the overall feeling just felt right on the campus. I look forward to pursuing my goals in the longer distances.”
