Here are the Georgia HS Boys 'Week 3 Runners of the Week' Jacob McLeod of Trinity Christian is All Class ROW.
Here are the Georgia HS Girls Week 3 ROWS. Nyah Hernandez of Creekview is All Class ROW
Landmark Christian only has 5 gals on their squad it seems, they need to avoid injuries at all costs... their 1-4 runners are solid, if their 5 continues to improve during the season, 'turn out the lights". Keep a watch out for the 2-5 squads in the Rankings.. (via MileSplit)
Hebron Christian is out the gate with a vengeance, having a great 4th place team finish in the Varsity race at BOA. Strong Rock has never been ranked so high, and appears to be a contender after their run at Starrs Mill AT&T Panther.. (via MileSplit)
AA Girls has never been so wide open in the history of the class. There are no clear favorites, and whoever works the hardest and smartly, will rise to the top of the Podium in November. (via MileSplit)
With many of the schools only running once, or not at all, most of the rankings are based on projections from last season returning runners. The cancellation of the GMC Small School Showcase last week due to weather affected quite a few teams. Watch List: Atkinson, Lake Oconee Academy, ACE (via MileSplit)

Liiks like it could be a another battle brewing between South Forsyth and Milton (via MileSplit)
Honorable Mention – Buford, East Paulding and Jones County (via MileSplit)
Westminster ran well at Berry. Look for Lovett and Pace to make big improvements thru September. Currently, North Hall and Dawson County are very close in a big race. east Jackson lost 4 of their top 5, but lead runner Shane Shelafoe is a contender to win Overall AAA state. (via MileSplit)
4A boys is again a private school powerhouse classification. Marist has loudly announced with their opening performance that they are the team to beat. St. Pius and Blessed Trinity looked strong at Berry and will surely give chase by the time November gets here. North Oconee and Oconee could have a county battle for the last podium spot this year, along with challengers from 'the south' in West Laurens and Perry. There is a lot of strong depth in teams $6-#20 in the state as XC in Georgia continues to improve and develop quality depth. (via MileSplit)
4A Girls are off to a fast start as normal as one of the top Classifications in the state in XC looks to be very competitive. Marist has thrown down early to take the #1 spot. Interestingly, the rankings open with the same order as last year's Podium finish with Blessed Trinity at 2, White County at 3, and St. Pius X at 4. Those 3 teams could end up extremely close this year, along with Oconee and North Oconee, making for an extremely crowded podium. NW Whitfield, Pickens, Woodward, and Jefferson open the season in the top 10 and we'll surely see some nice movement in and out of the top 10 from some challenging teams throughout the season.
