For the 4th year, Gill Athletics is sponsoring the Gill National High School Coach of the Year award (a boys coach and a girls coach). A committee from the National Track and Field Coaches Senate is in charge of the administration of the award and Gill will go to the hometown of each winner and present them with a trophy and gift certificate for$5000 worth of track and field equipment.
This is an award for high school coaches and high school coaches administer the process.

For nominating a fellow coach, your name will go into a drawing for the chance to win a t-shirt or sweatshirt.
This year, the country is divided into four regions. Each region will have a boys and girls winner. Those two winners will be among eight finalists (four girls and four boys) from which the national girls coach and national boys coach will be chosen. The window for nominations will be May 1 - July 1 and a winner will be announced within a reasonable period of time after that.
