Brieasha Hunter (Cretin-Derham Hall) earns the triple crown in the sprint races, topping the returners list in the 100, 200 and 400 meter dashes. With former teammate Megan Linder having graduated, Hunter will also have a chance to capture the state champ title in the 200, and defend her title in the 100 and 400 races. Of course, Wensia Johnson (Alexandria Jefferson), Jedah Caldwell (Centennial) and Maddie Gourley (Eagan) may have other plans in the 100. Johnson, Caldwell and Gourley will also challenge Hunter in the 200 with 9th grader T'Nia Riley (Minneapolis South) also joining the list of top sprinters. In the 400, senior Sophia Anderson (Academy of Holy Angels) and sophomores Honour Finley (Bloomington Kennedy) and Feyisayo Ayobamidele (Park Center) will be athletes to watch as they challenge Hunter for the title.
