What schools did you consider for your post-high school plans?
SDSU and NDSU.
What ultimately led you to commit to South Dakota State University?
It had my major of choice and it just felt right.
Has Coach DeHaven given you any indications of what event or events you might be specializing in as a collegiate athlete?
He said I would most likely be a long, triple, and high jumper.
Have you identified a major or area of study?
Pharmacy.
What is your favorite high school memory as it relates to track?
When I was a freshman, my brother and I took first and second in our conference meet in the triple jump.
What goals do you have for your remaining high school track season? Do you play a winter sport?
I hope to get 23' in the long jump, 49' in the triple jump, and 6'6" in the high jump. Yes, I play basketball.
What are your goals for your collegiate career?
I hope to be a contributor at the conference meet and to compete at the national meet.
What advice would you pass on to an athlete trying to make their college decision?
My 4x400 team after we took second in the 2015 Section Finals Meet.
