Max Lauerman, Minnetonka, Sr.
Lauerman comes into 2019 XC with a 16:00.6 PR which is third best among returners in the ultra competitive section 6AA and tenth in Class AA overall. He has bested several competitors in head to head match-ups including Russell Gokemeijer despite their faster PRs. On the track he trimmed his 16/32 PR's to 4:21.50/9:23.55, the later earning a fourth place result in his first track State Meet appearance. During the championship season last fall he went 6th/7th/19th through the Lake Conference/6AA Section/State Meet gauntlet improving his PR and flirting with a sub-16 minute time each race while proving his mettle against the state's best competition.
