MileSplit Minnesota recently caught up with Chanhassen High School Junior Isabella Roemer ahead of the spring track season to talk about running, training, her cross country experience, and the upcoming outdoor track season.
How did you get your start in running?
I started my running career in eighth grade because of the influence of my brother Justin, who's just a year older than I am. I had never really run before he convinced me to join the team and he assured me that I would fall in love with the sport as he had just a couple of years prior, and sure enough, I did.
