Even though our track and field season is in full swing, we lost a whole track and field season of recruiting. This means that there are many upperclassmen that are looking to compete collegiately and still don't have their dream school set.
We'd like to recognize the personal best performances and career highlights of those who've submitted their information for our Minnesota Unsigned Seniors article series.

Why do you think you can compete collegiately?
My dream is to compete with a Division 1 collegiate program. While I lost my sophomore track and field season due to COVID, I am working hard at my individual times this year to be competitive at that level. My 800M, 1600M, and 5K times are just a few seconds away and I am confident I can continue to bring them down over the course of this season and into my senior year.
What qualities can you bring to the college level?
I have been participating in track and XC since I was in 2nd grade. I love both the team atmosphere and the individual challenges of track/XC meets. I am an extremely hard worker and push myself to be my best in practice so that I can contribute to the team's success at every meet. I love the energy that comes from my teammates cheering me on to push to my limits and I celebrate their achievements in return. I believe that I can be a key contributor to a college team as well as a positive influence to my teammates around me.
How do you perform academically?
I am a hard worker and take my grades very seriously. So far in my high school career, I have taken accelerated math courses as well as participated in our chamber choir performing several times within our community. My overall GPA is 3.2 and my current trimester GPA is 3.6.
How do you perform in big meets? (Conference, sections, state, etc.)
XC Sophomore Year - 13th Overall at Suburban East Conference Championship, 6th Overall at MSHSL Section 3AA Meet (16:05), 46th Overall in the MN State XC Meet
Have you received any accolades from XC or track?
XC - Rookie of the year (7th Grade), Most Improved (8th, 9th Grade), Hardest Worker (10th Grade), MVP (11th Grade), State Qualifier (Team - 9th, Individual - 10th, 11th)
Track - Rookie of the year (9th Grade), No Track Season Sophomore Year
