Future Stars: 2022 Minnesota Boys and Girls On the Rise

Zeal Kuku, Minnetonka High School

Class of 2025

---

Zeal Kuku burst onto the scene at the Wayzata Relays last week where she ran a 12.61 100m dash and 26.22 200m dash to take the win in the 100m and place 2nd in the 200m. She holds the state lead among all freshmen girls in Minnesota for the 100m and is 2nd in the 200m (only behind Gabby Keefer with a wind-aided 12.37).

Kuku is a first-year track and field athlete, who looks to hold some great promise after her Wayzata relays races. She has already dropped over 2 seconds on her 200m PR and 0.69 seconds off her 100m PR. Both times put her in the top 20 among all girls runners in Minnesota this season.
