One of the premier indoor track and field events is on the horizon as the CYUP Misfits Invitational takes place on January 21st at the Worrill Center in Chicago.
The meet will bring together some of the best track and field athletes the Midwest has to offer in Delea Martins, Jackson Heidesch, Naomi Bey-Osborne, Noah Breker, Connor Burns, and so many more elite athletes!
The CYUP Misfits Invitational has grown exponentially each year of its two years of existence. Last year's edition produced over 120 elite performances, making it one of the most quality-filled meets inside of the Milesplit network. As the club/unattached indoor season reaches its peak at the newly minted Dr. Conrad Worrill Track & Field Center (also Gately) in the Pullman neighborhood on the far south side of Chicago. Registration remains open until January 18.
While CYUP Misfits offers mostly standard events, the meet aims to give athletes a unique opportunity to compete in "off" events such as, the 300m, 600m, 1000m. This is an awesome chance for athletes to start their season by not running their main events. Many athletes had personal bests at this career and gained scholarships opportunities.
