Just like she did during the MSHSL track and field season, Mankato East eighth-grader Adaylia Borgmeier dominated at nationals, winning ten titles at the 2023 Hartford Nationals which is the largest and longest-standing national championship for adaptive track and field athletes.
Borgmeier competed in ten events in the T54 para-classification, winning all ten events. Borgmeier won most events by a comfortable margin over the rest of the field.

This continues an impressive 2023 season that saw Borgmeier break both of her own state records in the 100m/200m, and shatter the 800m wheelchair state record. She again won three state titles in the 100m, 200m, and 800m. Borgmeier finished as the #1 nationally ranked wheelchair athlete in the 200m and 1600m, and ranked #9 in the 100m, #5 in the 400m, and #3 in the 800m.
Borgmeier at Hartford Nationals lowered her own records in the 100m, 200m, and 800m, and would've set new records in the 400m, 1500m, 3000m, and Javelin if those events were tracked for record-keeping purposes in Minnesota.
