As we inch towards Championship season for the Minnesota cross country season, things are heating up as temperatures are dropping, time are getting lower, and the elite in Minnesota gear up as major titles are on the line. It was a big week with huge performances at Owatonna, STMA, Chaska, and Victoria highlighting a busy week in Minnesota.
Here we look at the Minnesota Boy's Runner of the Week Nominees for Week 6 of the cross country season.

Boys Runner of the Week Nominees
Isaiah Anderson (Mankato East)
Anderson ran at the Owatonna Ev Berg Invitational where he won the boys varsity race with a time of 15:47.37 to win by 6 seconds. This is Anderson's second win in a row and his second sub 16-minute 5K effort in a row. Anderson also led the Mankato East boys to a dominant meet victory over Rosemount, leading them to a 16:15 meet average.
Eddie Snider (Mounds Park Academy)
A junior at Mounds Park Academy, Snider ran at the Eagle Ridge Academy Gryphon XC Invitational where he blew away the field to finish with a time of 15:56.62, winning by 37 seconds. This was Snider's first time running under 16-minutes in the 5K and was a 17 second PR.
Will Weber (Wayata)
The lead runner for Wayzata this season, Weber finished first at the STMA Invite with a time of 15:24 for his first win of the season and a 7-second PR. Weber led the Wayzata boys to a meet victory with 33 points and a 15:59 5K average which ranks #2 in Minnesota this season.
Nolan Sutter (Chaska)
Continuing his streak of top-five finishes this season, Sutter turned in his fifth straight 15:xx performance with a time of 15:36.82 to win the Chaska Victoria Lions Invitational. Sutter won the race by 35 seconds and was the only runner to run under 16 minutes. Sutter also ran at the Alexandria Lions Meet of Champions where he finished 2nd overall with a new PR of 15:10.90.
Robert Mechura (Roseville)
Mechura won the boys varsity race at the Alexandria Lions Meet of Champions where he finished with a time of 15:06, his second best 5K time of his career. Mechura now owns the #2 and #3 5K times by a Minnesota boys this season for all performances and his PR of 15:04.20 is the #4 time by a MN junior boy all-time.
