Minnesota Track & Field: New Rankings and Lifetime Bests

New lifetime bests abounded  this past weekend in track and field for Minnesota High schoolers. Check out some of the best performances and win streaks within the state.

Boys

At the Packer Relays, Zak Walker of Moorhead High School took first place in the 100m and 400m. The junior clocked a 10.70 in the 100m and returned to the track to record a lifetime best 49.40. Walker ranks #11 in the state over the 400m distance.

In the 800m, Hunter Jacobson improved his PR by over 2 seconds at the Bob Stewart invitational. The junior from Eastview crossed the line in first with a lifetime best 1:54.68, good for #4 in the state.
