Minnesota Outdoor Breakthrough Performances: Week of June 1

Minnesota high school athletes posted personal records across multiple events at the MSHSL State Track & Field Championships on June 4.

Olivia Erickson (Hastings) ran 55.11 in the girls' 400 meters, improving from her previous best of 56.56. The mark ranks #4 in Minnesota and set a school record for Hastings High School. Erickson placed 2nd of 37 competitors.

Evan Schenck (Hawley) clocked 49.60 in the boys' 400 meters, lowering his previous personal record of 50.64 from May 2026. The time ranks #29 in the state among all athletes and set a school record for Hawley High School. Schenck finished 13th of 40 competitors.
